DIY Hot Cocoa (Gift Idea!)

Homemade Hot Cocoa!!!
Recipe ~
2/3 C. Powdered Milk
1/4C. Powdered Sugar ( or 2/4C. depending on how sweet you like it.)
5TB Unsweetened Cocoa
1/2C mini Marshmallows
*optional ~ 2 or 3TB Chocolate Chips
( I found my Mason Jar at my local Safeway!)

Oreo Cookie Filling recipe(:

1. 8 Tbs. salted butter
2. 1/2 C. shortening
3. 31/2 C. powdered sugar
4. 1 Tbs. vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients together frosting will be very thick. if its too thin or yellow add mored powdered sugar.

Oreo Cookie Recipe!

1. 1 1/2 C. flour
2. 3/4 cup cocoa
3. 1 tsp. baking soda
4. 1/4 tsp baking powder
5. 1/4 tsp. salt 
6. 10 Tbs. salted butter
7. 1 1/2 cups sugar
8. 1 egg 

Preheat oven to 375.  Measure out your flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix together. in a separate bowl mix the butter and sugar until they form a cream, add in the egg.

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and roll the dough into small even balls 2 1/2 inches apart. Wet the bottom of a glass and dip it in white sugar, flatten each cookie with the bottom of the sugar coated glass. each cookie should now be coated with a thin layer of sugar. Finally, bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes and let cool for 5. Enjoy!
* This dough is extremely thick DO NOT use a hand mixer it will burn out the motor!!!*
